Welcome to the beginning of our new blog as we look forward to another World Cruise on January 5. This year, the route is different from our past experiences circumnavigating the globe; it goes south and north, to the Antarctic and then (almost) to the Arctic. Right now we are quite busy, as we smile proudly at grandchildren in holiday pageants and concerts, work on preparing Christmas gifts and worship bulletins, enjoy holiday entertainments, and organize our packing for the cruise ahead. And, oh yes, tax season comes up while we are gone, so we have to get that information submitted, and we have to rent a carport for the winter months, and there are the dentist appointments and filling out the Away Form for Duncaster and getting prescriptions filled for five months .... and we are actually enjoying it all tremendously as we remember our experiences on the Silver Whisper in years past, like reading as the ocean passes by our feet (see below) ...

Now as we wait for Silversea to pick up our luggage (on December 28), we are feeling quite optimistic about the ship's testing and masking and gathering policies. We are trusting that a ship full of vaccinated and boosted crew and passengers will be a safe and secure place from which to visit the world. And we are saying our prayers! Love to you all, Hope and Bill

We are so sorry not to be joining you but we will be sharing your experiences via this Blog. We have now tracked down the sender of the floral arrangement which arrived just after Christmas so please ignore our earlier email - hopefully it arrived?
Wishing you both a wonderful WC and best wishes for 2022.
