LISBON, PORTUGAL
A capital capital city

Last night we rocked about in the Atlantic; today we docked in Lisbon's beautiful and calm harbor on the Tagus River. Our berth is right by the red hotel in the first photo, so we are well situated. The other photos were taken while we were on a river cruise and show this stunning city well. There are no skyscrapers, just a mixture of lovely buildings covering seven rolling hills. The last photo with the little boats is of the Museum of Art Architecture and Technology. It looks like a winking eye covered with sparkly shells and is very intriguing. Our time was cut short because of the recent storms, so we departed at 5:30 and are told there is another stormy night ahead.

It does not appear that you actually explored the city, although the photos of the city are gorgeous. More stormy seas? That seems to have been one of the themes of this cruise. That and several land sites lost due to Covid.
